Essa é uma banda que não precisa de comentários. Sou fã de carteirinha ! Jumbo, na minha opinião é uma obra prima do progressivo. Disco extremamente perfeito. Sem dúvida, é um entorpecente da alma. Discaço ! Baixem essa preciosidade e viagem no som da moçada.

Kiss é o álbum de estreia da banda de hard rock, Kiss. Lançado em 1974, não agradou muito o público. Alguns meses depois, o Kiss voltou aos estúdios para gravar mais uma faixa para o álbum, "Kissin' Time". Algumas músicas do álbum foram compostas quando Paul Stanley e Gene Simmons ainda estava na antiga banda, Wicked Lester. Foi a partir desse álbum que o Kiss assinou contrato por mais 4 álbuns, com a Casablanca Records. O álbum ganhou certificado de disco de ouro em 8 de junho de 1977. O álbum contém vários hits do Kiss muitos tocados até hoje nos shows.

A capa do álbum foi inspirada na capa do álbum With the Beatles dos Beatles. Na Foto três dos quatro integrantes aplicaram sua propria maquiagem menos Peter Criss um profissional aplicou sua maquiagem, mas a maquiagem ficou muito diferente da que Peter usava, então ele voltou com a antiga maquiagem.

Kiss is the self-titled debut album from the American hard rock band Kiss. When it was released, on February 18, 1974, Kiss had been a band for little more than one year. Much of the material on the album was written by Gene Simmons and/or Paul Stanley, as members of their pre-Kiss band, Wicked Lester. Simmons estimated that the entire process of recording and mixing took three weeks, while co-producer Richie Wise claimed it took just thirteen days.

The album's cover showed the group positioned against a black background in a pose visually reminiscent of The Beatles' With the Beatles album (Criss stated that this was the visual effect the band was looking for). Three of the four band members applied their own makeup for the album cover photo, as they usually did; but Peter Criss's makeup was applied by a professional, whose work came out looking quite a bit different from the look Criss had established, and to which he would return immediately afterward.

O mais germânico grupo de Rock Progressivo Tradicional, o Grobschnitt foi também um dos mais inovadores e duradouros de seu país. Surgido em 1970, lançou em 1972 o antológico "Grobschnitt", uma admirável síntese de Progressivo Sinfônico com Hard Rock e experimentalismo, incluindo passagens Jazzisticas, de Blues e de música Folk, tudo isso acompanhado pelos mais variados ritmos percussivos

Grobschnitt was a German rock band which existed between 1970 and 1989[1]. Their style evolved as time progressed, beginning with psychedelic rock in the early 1970s before transitioning into symphonic progressive rock, NDW and finally pop rock in the mid-1980s. Grobschnitt, unlike other bands, utilized humor in their music in the form of unexpected noises and silly lyrics and concepts. As was common with many German bands of the time, Grobschnitt sang in English until the early 1980s, despite touring exclusively in Germany. The band accrued a loyal fan base through its live performances which included pyrotechnicscomedic sketches. Highlight performances include Solar Music, an extended mostly-instrumental piece which lasted up to an hour. Jethro Tull é uma banda de rock progressivo formada em Blackpool entre 1967-1968. Sua música é marcada pelo estilo vocal cheio de maneirismos e o trabalho único na flauta de seu líder Ian Anderson, além de uma complexa e pouco usual construção musical. Seu estilo incorpora elementos de música clássica e celta, assim como do rock alternativo e do art rock. Entretanto, é difícil especificar quais artistas tiveram influência direta ou foram influenciados pelo Jethro Tull. Jethro Tull are a progressive British rock group formed in 1967. Their music is characterised by the songs, vocals and flute work of Ian Anderson, who has led the band since its founding, and guitarist Martin Barre, who has been with the band since 1969. Initially playing blues rock with an experimental flavour, they incorporated elements of classical, folk and 'ethnic' musics, jazz and art rock into their music. The band have sold more than 60 million albums worldwide.

Big Allanbick - Blues Special Reserve

Grupo de blues (Ricardo Werther, voz; Alan Ghreen, piano e órgão; Big Gilson, guitarra; Ugo Perrotta, baixo; e Beto Werther, bateria) formado em 1992 no Rio de Janeiro, começou se apresentando em bares e casas noturnas e lançou em 1993 o primeiro CD, "Blues Special Reserve", com tiragem limitada. O segundo, "Black Coffee", de 1994, lançou a banda em outra escala. O Big Allanbik se apresentou em festivais e blues e excursionou pelos Estados Unidos em 1996, tocando em lugares consagrados como o Blue Note, em Nova York e Chicago.

The Big Allanbik blues band appeared in 1992 in Rio de Janeiro and was already releasing its first CD, Blues Special Reserve in the next year. The second one, Black Coffee (1994), was launched during the Nescafé and Blues Festival (São Paulo), where Robert Cray, Lonnie Brooks, Otis Clay, Ronnie Earl, Robben Ford, and Eric Burdon also played. Two years later the band went to the U.S., playing at the Blue Note (New York, NY) and at the Tobacco Road (Miami, FL). In Chicago they played with Duke Robillard at Buddy Guy's Legends and with Lonnie Brooks at the Chicago Blue Note. Their third album, Batuque y Blues (1998), produced by Bob Stander, mixed a Brazilian percussion to classic rock and blues. In the same year, the band performed at the Metropolitan hall in Rio four times, on the same night that Steve Winwood and B.B. King played. In São Paulo they had gigs in the Palace and other major nightclubs. At the Parque do Ibirapuera they did a show on the same day that Johnny Rivers played for over 70,000 people.
